Real, google, search, can't, estate, maps

Question by lars haa.: Why can't I search for real estate on google maps?

When I search now, I only get businesses like realtors. Also, when I look up sex offenders on google maps, I don't see offenders, just more businesses.
The computer at the library now does the same thing.

Perfect example of a company having a monopoly with a product and is able to dictate what consumers deem important.
